Notice to the Elevator Industry and Elevator Professionals…
Minden, NV – Maxton Manufacturing Company will sell through its new UC1/UC2 elevator control valve limited inventory and stop manufacturing these models as new. Repair and VEP (Valve exchange program) on UC1/UC2 valves, providing like for like replacement, will continue following Maxton’s 20 year rolling end of life valve program.
The UC1/UC2 valves were the starting point for Maxton over 50 years ago. As power units changed over time, with no new current power unit designs incorporating these valves, their use and fit has dwindled to where it no longer makes sense to continue manufacturing. Additionally, the UC1A/UC2A models that frequent today’s power unit designs offer the same performance as the UC1/UC2 although using a different piping configuration for correct fit. So, whether you choose to repair an old UC1/UC2 model, use a VEP, or convert it to the UC1A/UC2A models you can continue operating with peak performance going forward.
