Minden, NV– On January 21 & 22, 2016 Maxton Manufacturing Company provided CET training sessions on Maxton valves at Slade Elevator in Mountainside, NJ and Action Elevator in Fairfield, NJ respectively. In total 29 elevator mechanics and/or apprentices attended the trainings for continuing education credits (4.0 credit hours) through the NAEC approved continuing education program. Each session was made up of classroom instruction, Q&A, and practical valve adjustment/troubleshooting with the Maxton TA4M portable hydraulic elevator training unit.
This class continues to deliver the education needed by elevator mechanics working on hydraulic elevators and Maxton valves…listen to what each company supervisor had to say below.
“I would like to congratulate Maxton Manufacturing Company for providing an excellent Valve Training Program. The lecture along with the hands on instruction exceeded my expectations. Our men felt that the class was extremely helpful. It gave them more confidence and a better understanding in troubleshooting,” said Henry Shostchuk, Partner at Action Elevator.
“The class was great! Our men got a lot of information and hands on time with the valve. Thanks for coming out,” said Gerry Dubatowka, Superintendent at Slade Elevator.
“As it turned out we were lucky enough to get two days of training in before winter storm Jonas brought everything to a standstill. We appreciated both companies working with their busy schedules while maintaining such a strong turnout, thanks again,” said Billy Shrum Technical Manager.
