Minden, NV– On May 17, 2017 Maxton completed their first of two scheduled CET hydraulic elevator control valve classes with 21 mechanics and inspectors attending from VTEC, EMR Services and Dillard’s in Harahan, LA. This continuing education class provided the mechanics with credits (4.0 credit hours) through the NAEC’s approved Certified Elevator Technician program. These sessions are made up of classroom instruction and practical application through valve adjustment and troubleshooting with the Maxton TA4M training unit.
Here are just a few comments from inspectors/mechanics in attendance…
“After 46 years in the elevator industry…I’ve been informed of things I’ve overlooked…The class was presented in a very professional manner and I learned quite a bit.”
“Was everything I had hoped…now have more confidence in valve adjustments.”
“Great class! Very informational.”
The next Maxton valve training will be in June at the same location with a new group.
“It was great to hear that several of the mechanics requested the Maxton valve training particularly the hands-on portion. Being able to combine class instruction followed by physical application reveals the complete picture and a fuller understanding,” said Billy Shrum Technical Director.
