Minden, NV– On July 25th 2012 Maxton Manufacturing Company instructed the entire elevator crew at Penn State. 11 mechanics were divided into two groups between the 4 hour AM and PM sessions. Each elevator mechanic learned proper Maxton elevator control valve maintenance, technical and hands on trouble shooting, elevator performance measuring, adjustment procedures, and general Maxton product knowledge. Thanks to CemcoLift who kindly offered their TA4M training unit for the hands on portion of the training the Penn State mechanics were able to solidify the training immediately.
This NAEC approved 4.0 hour CET training class provided by Billy Shrum Maxton’s Technical Manager is offered to everyone wanting to learn more about hydraulic elevators, Maxton valves and support products. Mark Gates said, “Well worth the time spent…..I felt like a helper on his first day. With all my apprentices and their need and desire of elevator knowledge the presentation is excellent.”
“Penn State and Mark Gates have been great participants in helping Maxton with bio hydraulic oil testing and providing other product feedback over the years. I’m glad we were able to add more value by providing Maxton valve training,” said Karl Keller Marketing Director.
