Minden, NV– On January 25, 2012 Maxton Manufacturing Company instructed 16 elevator mechanics at LAX on all aspects of maintenance, adjustment, trouble shooting, and other hydraulic elevator system points using Maxton hydraulic elevator control valves. The class received instruction with product props, hands on trouble shooting using a TA4M field training aid, and actual elevator performance testing using the SafeTach. The CET approved Maxton valve class provides continuing education credits and keeps the mechanics up to date with all Maxton products.
The LAX group of mechanics maintain/repair and service 160 elevators that operate at one of the busiest US airports moving tens of thousands of people each and every day. With 130 hydraulic elevators onsite, 98% using Maxton valves, LAX mechanics specify Maxton to keep people moving throughout the airport safely and efficiently.
After the class was complete several students gave positive feedback and thanked Maxton for coming to share this training.
“I would just like to thank you again for the great training class you provided to all the guys here at LAWA. The feedback was very complementary of your training and information it provided. Some commented on how much more comfortable the training made them feel about sizing and adjusting Maxton valves. I look forward to scheduling another training class in the near future for the rest of the crew who were not able to attend,” said Hector Perez Elevator Repair Supervisor I.
