Minden, NV– On February 27, 2014 Maxton Manufacturing Company held CET training for 7 elevator mechanics at Diamond Elevator in San Ramon, CA. The 4.0 credit hour Maxton Hydraulic Elevator Control Valve Training covered both classroom instruction and hands on application. This interaction between factory and those in the field is always enlightening for both sides with many take a ways.
Here is what two mechanics had to say about the training:
“Great class! We learned a new way to look at the valve using gauges and adjusting by pass using pressure, nice!”
“Everyone learned something new today. It was great to spend the time to train in a classroom, not on the job. Time and money well spent.”
As is most common with the Maxton control valve CET training’s the hands on puts the topics and methods into practice immediately. The mechanic’s confidence level is given a boost because they now have a much deeper understanding and aptitude for the control valve within the hydraulic system. No doubt this group will work more efficiently as a team and independently as the case may be.
“This group of elevator professionals, from Diamond and Advanced Elevator, gave us several viable suggestions on how to better serve them in the field. We look forward to figuring out the best ways to make these happen,” said Billy Shrum Technical Director at Maxton.
