Minden, NV –Maxton Manufacturing Company held Maxton Hydraulic Elevator Control Valve training at D-C Elevator Co., Inc. in Kentucky on Thursday November 17th. Ten mechanics attended the morning training and will receive 4.0 credit hours towards their CET for 2011. With nearly sixty employees D-C Elevator provides elevator repair, new installation, modernization and preventative maintenance across all of Kentucky and surrounding states. It was clear from the start that elevator mechanic education and training is taken seriously by this group.
Billy Shrum Technical Manager at Maxton delivered the in depth training that covered Maxton products, factors that affect performance of the valve and hydraulic system, adjusting valves, maintenance, trouble shooting of actual field problems from the group, and much more. The interactions between mechanics and discussions generated brought real world influence to the information shared in this training. “I would like to thank Chuck Sharp for this opportunity to provide Maxton training. I hope we can do it again in the future with more of the D-C Elevator group,” said Billy Shrum Technical Manager.
