Safety is an important concern on any manufacturing shop floor. Maxton understands the role safety plays in operating a successful and proficient manufacturing environment. Only by having monthly safety meetings, suggestion boxes, incentive programs, proper training and workers leading by example has Maxton achieved this milestone.
“The CNC, metal working, and fabrication machinery used throughout the facility to produce our hydraulic elevator products all have inherent dangers. I’m very proud of all of our conscientious, well trained employees who are working to set the standards for safety in manufacturing,” said Kirk Muller Production Manager.
“Our safety program has been fully endorsed by the management at Maxton and the employees continue to contribute by keeping our environment safe and accident free. We all work together beyond our monthly meetings/training to point out possible unsafe conditions and offer corrective recommendations,” said Larry Russ Facilities Lead.
Maxton will be celebrating with a company BBQ in November to commend the employees for the job well done and continued safe practices going forward.
