Minden, NV – On November 29, 2018 Maxton Manufacturing Company held elevator control valve training classes at Schindler Elevator Beltsville, MD. 6 mechanics from the new installation team attended the session for continuing education credits (4.0 credit hours) through the NAEC’s approved continuing education program. The session was made up of classroom instruction, Q&A, and practical valve adjustment/troubleshooting applications using the Maxton TA4M training unit.
The elevator mechanics were engaged while learning new and correct techniques in solving common field issues impacting the valves along with re-affirming the basics. This working knowledge of and with the valves raises confidence and increases performance within each mechanic. The value received was expressed by many…
“Class is very well taught with very informed instructors.”
“The class taught me different ways to trouble shoot the valve and set BPS by myself…very valuable.”
“The class was very informative and easy to understand.”
“It’s great to see the excitement when mechanics learn something new that will help them solve issues that have been problematic and not solved prior,” said Landon Smallwood, Technical Support / Trainer.
