Minden, NV– On December 5, 2012 Maxton completed their CET hydraulic elevator control valve class with 25 mechanics attending from Urban Elevator in Cicero, IL. This continuing education class provides the mechanics with credits (4.0 credit hours) through the NAEC’s approved Certified Elevator Technician program. These sessions are made up of classroom instruction and practical application through valve adjustment and troubleshooting with the Maxton TA4M training unit.
Here are just a few comments from mechanics in attendance…
“I worked on those valves for many years, did not realize I could learn anything new. I was wrong.”
“I treated my knowledge of valves as a matter of fact… except my facts were a little off.”
“The group at Urban was highly interactive which made for a fast paced and lively training. Those attending were appreciative of all the information and tips that will make them better mechanics,” said Karl Keller Marketing Director.
“People seldom admit the lack of knowledge, but I am certain that the vast majority of Urban Techs who attended this refresher course on Maxton valves took something out of this class that will serve them for the remainder of their career,” said Mark Hertsberg CEO Urban Elevator.
