Minden, NV– On December 5, 2012 Maxton completed their CET hydraulic elevator control valve class with 6 mechanics attending from Colley Elevator Co., in Bensenville, IL. This continuing education class provides the mechanics with credits (4.0 credit hours) through the NAEC’s approved Certified Elevator Technician program. These sessions are made up of classroom instruction and practical application through valve adjustment and troubleshooting with the Maxton TA4M training unit.
The mechanics in attendance had these comments…
“It was great to get some hands on training with the designers of the valve”
“I’ve been in the hydraulic elevator business for 25+ years and still learned a few things on the valves during the training”
“I received a call from Craig Zemchek just last week about having training and it just so happened we were on our way to Chicago the following week. Great timing! Turns out we are looking for another elevator company in the Chicago area interested in Maxton CET training. Craig needs to schedule another class in January or February to include those mechanics unable to make it this time. Give me a call if you’re interested,” said Karl Keller Marketing Director.
“We are always looking for continuing education and I had a reminder on my outlook calendar to contact Maxton and finally did, it so happened they were going to be in the neighborhood the next week so they worked with us to get the training off the ground,” said Craig Zemchek Business Manager at Colley
