Minden, NV – September 12, 2013 Maxton Manufacturing held a CET hydraulic elevator mechanic training class for the elevator maintenance department at University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville, VA. 12 elevator mechanics participated in the training covering valve adjustments and troubleshooting with the TA4M simulator while discussing valve operations and function, hydraulic oils, and general hydraulics elevator systems. The UVA elevator maintenance crew services 235 hydraulic elevators, using mostly Maxton valves, between the medical and education campuses.
“There were 12 guys in the training class that found it very useful. We are always excited to have new tools, and your training class was an excellent addition to the tool box. We look forward to working with Maxton in the future”, said James Dowell Elevator Maintenance Supervisor.
“We had a successful day of training that concluded by dialing in 3 elevators using the SafeTach and adjustment procedures following the hands on trouble shooting with the TA4M“, said Billy Shrum Maxton Technical Director
