Minden, NV– On May 14th & 15th Maxton Manufacturing Company provided two CET training sessions on Maxton valves at Minnesota Elevator, Inc (MEI) Norristown, PA location and at Peelle in Farmingdale, NY. In total 31 elevator mechanics, engineers, and/or apprentices attended the training’s for continuing education credits (4.0 credit hours) approved through the NAEC’s approved continuing education program. Each session was made up of classroom instruction, Q&A, and practical valve adjustment/troubleshooting with the Maxton TA4M portable elevator training unit.
The students were excited to learn new points and techniques with the valves while re-affirming the basics. Working knowledge of and with the valves raised confidence and solidified positive momentum within each student towards solving any issues found at their next job site. Overall, the classes were appreciated and valued by all.
“Another beneficial training trip is in the books. It was good to see some old faces mixed with new students this week and knowing each are working with the correct information and knowledge allowing them to perform at their best in the field,” said Billy Shrum Technical Manager.
“I would like to thank both MEI and Peelle for their hospitality and allowing us to use their facilities. We appreciate the combined effort that it takes to put on a successful event,” said Karl Keller Marketing Director.
