Minden, NV- On February 17, 2017 Maxton Manufacturing Company released their 3” Hydraulic Elevator Shut off Ball Valve design for code compliant use by the elevator industry.  This product rounds out the ASME A17.1/CSA B44 code compliant elevator shut off ball valve series for Maxton with the commercial offering of (2”, 2.5” & 3”) sizes.  It was learned through customer interaction, product evaluation and research that shut off ball valves most commonly used in elevator industry don’t meet ASME A17.1/CSA B44 code requirements.  The Maxton elevator shut off ball valve design intends to provide elevator companies a way to correct that shortfall.
